For the past six months, volunteers at Civic Tech Toronto hacknights have been working to improve the availability of historical City of Toronto bids & tenders (‘Requests for Proposals’, or RFPs). They'll share an update on what they've built, what they've learned, and what's next for the project.

Gabe Sawhney is one of the co-founders of Civic Tech Toronto.

Alex Olson

Alex Olson is a Senior Research Associate at the University of Toronto's Centre for Analytics and AI Engineering (CARTE). Collaborating with faculty, staff, and students, Alex explores innovative ways to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into their work. He is dedicated to advancing cutting-edge applied AI research and promoting the practical implementation of AI solutions. He considers himself an AI-skeptic AI researcher.
