Civic Tech Toronto

We are bringing together an enthusiastic pack of people, to work together, learn together and create civic tech.

We're Civic Tech Toronto. We get together at our ‘hacknights’ every Tuesday evening. At our hacknights we listen to a speaker then work on civic tech projects together for the public good. We want to solve civic challenges through tech and design. Join us at our next hacknight!

Get Involved

Getting started is easy, some ways you can get involved in Civic Tech Toronto:

What is Civic Tech?

TL;DR: The intersection of technology and public life.

A civic philosophy and a community using technology to improve public, government, and civic process and services, or to address issues of shared public concern using methods of development that are user-centred, iterative, data-driven, open sourced, and collaborative.

See our Toronto projects list and resources page for reference and more information.
